Public Speaking Engagements

Inspired by Paul Hawken’s book Regeneration: Ending the Climate Crisis in One Generation, I designed a mini course for the university-wide community event. In this course, I shared how participants can be regenerative in their approach toward climate action.

On behalf of Student Energy as the organizing team of the Student Energy Summit 2023, I shared that there is still a greater need for including youth in the energy transition to strengthen the energy transition process and build future leaders.

I shared about climate justice on an international scale and how there is a need of recognizing marginalized regions around the world. Through storytelling, we can amplify and raise awareness of the experiences of those on the frontlines of the climate crisis. 

Introducing the event and the documentary film "River of Gold," I highlights the importance of protecting the Amazon Rainforest, often referred to as the world's lungs and a critical component in mitigating climate change. The destruction of the Amazon has far-reaching consequences for all living beings, and urgent actions are needed to restore our connection with this vital ecosystem before it's too late.
